When Obedience Feels Inconvenient: Choosing God Over Comfort.

 " If you are willing and obedient,  you will eat the good things of the land." - Isaiah 1:19 (NIV). Obedience. We hear that ever so often. But living it out, especially when it is difficult or inconvenient, is quite a struggle. Obedience doesn't feel glamorous. To be honest, it doesn't always come with applause. It requires us to sacrifice what is easy.  Let's look at the story of Abraham (Genesis 12), God told Abraham,  “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you. Hebrews 11:8 says, " By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance,  obeyed and went,  even though he did not know where he was going."
