Divine Purpose and Redirection

"Jeremiah 29:11" For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (NLT)  What is Purpose? According to various definitions, it is an individual's goal or objectives, but what does that really mean? For some, purpose is tied to fame, stability, love, success, or passion. But does that mean one person's definition of purpose is more valid than another's? Absolutely not! As humans, our goals are shaped by life experiences, challenges, backgrounds, and even the slightest influences. But where do we go with this? Your Purpose is Bigger Than You Think! When Obedience Feels Inconvenient: Choosing God Over Comfort.

 " If you are willing and obedient,  you will eat the good things of the land." - Isaiah 1:19 (NIV). Obedience. We hear that ever so often. But living it out, especially when it is difficult or inconvenient, is quite a struggle. Obedience doesn't feel glamorous. To be honest, it doesn't always come with applause. It requires us to sacrifice what is easy.  Let's look at the story of Abraham (Genesis 12), God told Abraham,  “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you. There would be so many questions to ask. It wouldn't sound logical at all. Yet Abraham obeyed. Hebrews 11:8 says, " By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance,  obeyed and went,  even though he did not know where he was going."
